We had our 2019 annual Vamoos Partner event on Tuesday, and it was a really great evening!
It was a good opportunity to remind our partners of all the amazing things we did in 2018, including the release of a number of really useful features that our partners asked for. We also gave our partners a sneak peak at what they could expect to see from us in 2019…
We held some break out sessions on topics we thought would be useful for our partners to hear and discuss with their fellow Vamoos community, including:
– Better understanding of 2 of our newest features, Creations (our itinerary builder) and InstantView (our quote tool), and how to get the most out of these features
– How to promote Vamoos to customers and tools to do this effectively to ensure that the end users are getting the best customer experience possible
– Ideas on how to guide end users through their Vamoos journey using different touch points
– A think tank session to feedback on the app and share ideas about new or improved features
We then had our highly anticipated awards ceremony, where we were able to recognise some of our partners and the amazing ways they are using Vamoos.

NST is a school touring company, and uses Vamoos as an effective way to communicate to teachers and group leaders information about their trips.
HIGHLY COMMENDED – LUXURY COTSWOLD RENTALS

The Best Vamoos Promotion
WINNER – IMAGINE TRAVEL
Imagine Travel have gone above and beyond promoting their app on their website, in emails, in brochures, guidebooks, handouts – you name it! They understand the importance of the Vamoos experience and aim to get this message across in every way possible.
The Best Use of Vamoos:
WINNER – MAGNETIC NORTH
Unfortunately no one from Magnetic North could make the event, but we were absolutely blown away by how great not only their app looked, but also how well they had started using our newest features like the itinerary builder and flight alerts.
HIGHLY COMMENDED – HENRIETTA FERGUSON
Henrietta Ferguson were highly commended in this category as they have stunning Vamoos itineraries and use great imagery to impress their clients. They used all the Vamoos features really well, especially the storyboards and points of interest.
Well done to all of our award winners and thank you to everyone who nominated – we look forward to doing it all again next year!
Dare we say it… the reign of PDFs is almost over! In a world where travellers can find everything they need, from interactive visual itineraries to key travel documents, all within a single platform, it’s difficult to resist the appeal of a travel app. But the hard part isn’t deciding to embrace travel tech, it’s choosing which app solution is right for you.
For tour operators and travel agencies, the ability to communicate directly with travellers, share important travel documents and keep clients informed about itinerary changes is crucial – especially if you want to deliver an excellent overall experience. Here’s the bad news: emails are getting in the way. They’re outdated, time-consuming and easy for your clients to miss. Don’t worry though; we’re sharing 3 ways in which emails are letting you down, and showing you why an all-in-one travel app could be the solution to your problems.
In our first villa travel blog, we looked at why villa travel companies need to ditch paper and emails to offer a more holistic, modern experience that matches client expectations. This time, we’re showing you how to go one step further by using travel tech to integrate trip-defining detail into that experience seamlessly.
